Nels Alfred Anderson

Nels Alfred was born in Dala, Skaraborgen, Sweden – 16 January 1845 and immigrated to Chicago, IL in 1869. He moved to New Boston, MO in 1875. He and Johanna Christina were married before leaving Sweden in 1868. Nels and Johanna had 12 children.

  • Axel George b. Nov 28, 1869, Chicago, IL – d. Nov 22, 1941 m. Netha Florence Joyce d. 1905 and had 5 children. m. Catherine Annette Johansdotter “Johnson” 7 May 1912 and had 7 children.
  • Alfred Alvin b 3 Aug 1871, Chicago, IL – d 22 May 1914 m. Mary Jane (Molly) Mitchell and had one son.
  • Hjalmer Nathanel b. 23 May 1873 Chicago, IL. – d. 2 Jul 57 m. Anna Sophia Christenson and had one daughter.
  • Nels Julius b. 2 Jul 1875 New Boston, MO. – d. 3 May 1966 m. Alma Alta Nickerson and had 3 children.
  • Helma (Selma) Josephina b. 12 Mar 1877 New Boston, MO. d. 05-18-1926
  • Ellen Susanna b. 29 May 1878, New Boston, MO. m. James Delmar Mitchell and had 3 children.
  • Julia Kattarina b 11 June 1879, New Boston, MO. d. 7 Sept 1879.
  • Hilma Christine b. 14 Sept 1881 New Boston, MO.
